Our mission at the Mersey School of Anaesthesia (MSA) is to foster an inclusive, engaging, respectful and supportive environment for Anaesthetists/Intensivists preparing for their examinations.

  • Treat everyone with kindness and respect. Harassment, bullying, hate speech, or discrimination based on race, gender, age, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic is strictly prohibited.
  1. Stay Professional
  • Whilst we encourage a sense camaraderie and enjoyment on our Courses, ensure that time spent in discussions & participation remain professional, relevant, and productive.
  1. Share and Support
  • Encourage open sharing of ideas, resources, and advice. Offer constructive feedback and support to fellow course attendees.
  1. Confidentiality and Privacy
  • Respect the confidentiality and privacy of fellow course attendees. Do not share personal or sensitive information without explicit consent.
  1. Quality Content
  • Strive to contribute high-quality, insightful, and reliable content. Cite sources appropriately when sharing third-party information.
  1. Self-Promotion
  • Limited self-promotion is permitted if it genuinely benefits the community.
  1. Intellectual Property
  • In addition to adhering to the rules surrounding MSA’s Intellectual Property which is outlined prior to, and during, the Course(s); Ensure any content shared to the cohort respects copyright and intellectual property laws. Always provide credit to original creators.
  1. Report Issues
  • If you encounter inappropriate behaviour or content whilst attending any of our Courses, please report it promptly to the MSA Executive, Faculty or Moderators.
  1. Enforcement
  • The MSA reserve the right to revoke attendance on the Course (or any future Course) in the event of any misconduct. This misconduct will also be reported to an individual’s responsible Tutor, Supervisor, Hospital and/or Deanery.
